It’s about connection - origins, geology, conservation, belonging, history.
Ongoing travels to various parts of Australia give me the opportunity to immerse myself in the vast space and immeasurable beauty of our landscape. The lack of urban distractions has a visceral affect on the senses allowing me to slow down and tune into the pulse of the land. Vibrations of body and landscape merge in a moving and profound way. Deep Time.
I will never completely understand the life forces I’m choosing to represent but it’s important for my work to never stop asking the questions.
